Sustainability engineering? Need you help ASAP!! pleasee !?We Answered:
environmental engineer is the actual name, sustainability is included in most programs.most colleges and universities offer this program, but read more about it and you will find which ones focus more on the things you are looking for. there are alot in California now that have very dedicated programs to this field.

Can people think of geographical locations around the world that has a similar description to the following? We Answered:
If you contact the Bureau of Land Management, you can probably get a ton of such sites plotted on a map. This is limited to the United States, though -- and judging by your use of "kilometers", I suspect you're looking for other areas. As for info about undeveloped land becoming power plant, you'd want to look into solar farms and wind farms:

Environmental Help! Which major to pursue if I want Resource Management and sustainbility? We Answered:
I'm not sure what is offered at the university you are attending. But I seem to think that Civil or environmental engineering would be the best thing for you to pursue. Some universities don't offer environmental engineering as a degree but rather a civil program with some focus on environmental courses. You could also complete a civil degree and later pursue a masters program in environmental engineering. Judging from everything you've asked and what you are interested in, I think you should go after civil engineering. A degree in engineering will just be a start, once you have this completed it will open you up to pursue other things further that you are interested in.Dorothy Said:
Model for anything related to energy conservation or agriculture or enviornment or industrial management? We Answered:
Al Gore, seems to be the perfect choice for your model. One of his homes consumes more energy than 20 homes. And his jet that he flies around in uses more fuel in one trip than I use in a year. All funny stuff aside.
Look up recycling. Any kind of recycling, steel, aluminum, plastic, paper, glass, etc. When you find people that recycle things instead of waisting a lot of energy to make new things from raw materials, this in my opionon is the one of the best models to follow.

Sustainabile engineering? i wish! tell me what you know please!?We Answered:
These days, all engineers must consider sustainability. It isn't a field, but an overarching concept.Civil or environmental would be good if you're interested in water resources. Materials engineering would be a good way to go if you want to do something related to recycling and sustainable material design. Either biological systems engineering or an agriculture degree would serve you well if you're interested in sustainable food production.
Also, someone mentioned Engineers Without Borders in their answer. This is a great program, look for a chapter of it at your college when you get there (or start one!), they do a lot of sustainability work. EWB is not, however, a career option (you can't work "for" them), it is a charity organization that you work for in your spare time along with working for an engineering company. So another option is to find an engineering field that you'd enjoy doing, and then do sustainability work with EWB making use of what you learn in school and on the job to benefit those who need it.
