Construction Management Jobs

Ronald Said:

What jobs could i get with HND Construction Management or HND Architectural Design?

We Answered:

You could become a chartered engineer/architect earning upwards of £30k. i would do it if i was you. i am beginning an architectural engineering degree in september and hope to be a civil engineer afterwards.

most engineering companies only look for HND qualified in engineers.

as a tradesman your earning potential is limited - as an architect or engineer you could be earning the big bucks in a few years.

hope this helps and good luck, you have to be really passionate about it to succeed in this field though so if youre non chalant about it i wouldnt bother.

Hows the construction management job market in Florida?

We Answered:

Well, the woman that runs the design company that I work for in GA moved here from FL and also brought with her several of her old installers. The guy that cuts our granite countertops actually drives up here every week from Tallahassee just to work. He leaves a family in FL every week to work in ga. We are about 3 or 4 hours away from Tallahassee. I have a tile vendor in south FL that has not had many good things to say about the housing market down there either. He is from the Miami area. Hope this is helpful.

construction management?

We Answered:

There are very good degrees in Construction Management and Construction Engineering Technology available. Just make sure they are either TAC/ABET or ATMAE accredited.

Construction Engineering Technology requires more math. Construction Management has more Business and Supervision courses.
