The contract between the parties was for short term employment of 6 months but after 3 months the services were terminated without giving appropriate opportunity in the form of notice for the termination of the employment, nor any compensatory amount such as one month salary given to the employee. Even though if there was terms with regard to termination of the contract anytime, the principle of natural justice with regard to prior notice to the employee before terminating the employment cannot be ignored.All this can be sufficient ground to get not only the payment of balance 3 month salary for the employee but even provide her financial compensation in the form of cost for the litigation that takes place in the civil court for getting the Contract between the parties implemented as there is a clear case of its infringement by the Company/employer.
This employee herself being an advocate by profession need not require any legal representation for this case but your company will be engaging advocate for legal representation in the civil court.
The fee you shall be paying to the advocate and than the financial compensation to this person shall be much more than what you would have given her during rest of the 3 months duration. Even if you required more number of legal consultants for the job her services could have continued up to next 3 months namely the completion of the contractual period for this employment.
God forbid the HR department of all these MNCs where no one cares taking a lawyer to guide them for all the legal issues but they mind not go ahead breaking all rules and laws themselves afterwards seek legal advices in the forum like this.

Find out as much as you can about the field before proceeding.

1. Working on a yacht definitely doesn't come under the definition of 'specified work' and you have no chance of getting a second WH visa. It's true that if your application is refused, you would lose the visa application charge, but with your background, you would be unlikely to have a problem though you and your sponsor will obviously need to be able to tick all of the boxes - don't even think about cutting any corners and keep in mind the starred comment above.
Employer sponsored visas receive the top processing priority and if your employer is already approved, it may be possible to get a visa very quickly. You would also have a reasonable chance of getting a bridging visa if it takes longer and your application is well underway.

You could also go for a 457 temporary sponsored visa. If your sponsor is approved, you should be able to get that one and the cost to the employer and employee is under $600 in total. You could then apply for a permanent sponsored visa later at your leisure. The starred comment applies here too.
