Top Alternate Energy

Jeffery Said:

Why isn't Development of Alternate Fuels by America's Smartest Minds a Top Priority?

We Answered:

Simple. Politics. It's not in the best interest of certain people in power to end our dependency on foreign oil. It is too profitable, and the world economy depends too much on it. There is hope though. Honda recently released a hydrogen powered car in California. It emits NO harmful by-products, and actually produces water vapors. If we can get the infrastructure (ie, hydrogen fuel stations) in place, I think the support is there for the technology.

Janet Said:

Should the U.S. adopt a "Cheaper Crude or No More Food" policy?

We Answered:

YES, absolutely! I've never heard of that, but what a good idea!

It's only going to work if other countries also participate. Let's gang up and starve them!

EDIT:
Yeah ok, maybe it wouldn't work but I still think we shouldn't buy ANYTHING from the middle east! We need to do a massive re-haul and change the way ALL industrialized nations power themselves and utilize different sources of energy and fuel (Much easier said than done, obviously). They have been taking advantage of the world for too long, we need to make their oil worth NOTHING! The world would breath much easier if the entire middle east just dropped of the face of the planet with all their brainwashed fanatics senselessly fighting and killing and starting their BS religious wars all the time. Anyway, don't buy anything from those crazies! Here is a list of companies from the U.S. Department of Energy that DO NOT BUY ANY MIDDLE EASTERN OIL.
BP
Citgo
Sunoco

Here is a list of some other companies that buy Middle Eastern oil and how much of it. DON'T BUY GAS AT THESE STATIONS!
Chevron purchased 14,724,000 from the Middle East.
Exxon-Mobil combined purchased 13,273,000 barrels from the Middle East.
Marathon purchased 10,710,000 in Middle Eastern oil.
Shell purchased 3,611,000 barrels from Kuwait and Saudi Arabia
Amoco purchased 3,611,000 barrels from the Middle East.
Conoco purchased 523,000 from the Middle East.

Ultimately everyone needs to drastically reduce the amout of this rescource that they use, but when you do need to buy it, don't fund the middle east!

Kim Said:

Would you vote for me for president?

We Answered:

I generally like most of your ideas, but you are very vague as to how you will realistically implement them. You also misspelled presence.
I like number 3 but how will u fund it? more taxation? military spending cuts? cut into education?
I really like 5, its a fresh idea that I haven't heard yet.
for 6, what do you mean by "tighten"? Does that simply mean enforcing the rules more or building a massive wall guarded by ardent minutemen? If its a wall, then I dislike it. Walls are symbols of oppression. When I think of walls historically, I think of the Berlin Wall that communist russia erected, the wall between North and South Korea, the wall between Israel and Palestine. Not good at all.
I like 9, but, realistically, if you were running for president, you wouldn't have that as part of your platform. It would only hurt you, not help.

Discuss It!
